Evaluate Ho Chi Minh City Sustainability Using Fuzzy Extent Analysis Method

Sustainable development of cities was among the goals aimed by either country or region since 1980s. Ho Chi Minh City ranked as most rapid urban in Vietnam, which challenged accommodation necessities for a pleasant life city with limited resources, including housing, public infrastructure, clean environment, security, safety, employment, and other necessities. The purpose this study to measure sustainability employing fuzzy decision analysis. A systematic review literature has provided theoretical framework measuring sustainable cities. Further consent on criteria context City, Vietnam confirmed based evaluation thirty experts academic practical experience field. research findings measurement model at three levels main 2nd level twenty sub-criteria 3rd level. results revealed that there is great performance priority ranking terms social dimension. However, conflict importance economic environmental dimensions been found. This practically implied strategies bridging gap between city’s actual target sustainability.
